On the list of problems I hear the most from my customers is they cannot manage to get their braids to own sound level. They love performing braids, but find it difficult not leading them to super snug or flat. Here are 4 points i always use after i would like my braids to possess sound level:

1.    Backcomb it first.
This helps a lot because it gives your braid a base to lay on. I usually backcomb the section I must braid and then return and easy down the exterior layer so it doesn’t look ratty.
2.    Hold the hair SOFTLY while you braid.
This one is large also it helps a ton. If you are holding your hair way tight and pulling it way tight in between each section, try loosening your hold a little. I never ever hold my hair very tight while I braid, making it quickly just a little loose and creating level.

3.    Scrunch it up.
The moment your braid is total, push no more up along with, scrunching it up somewhat. Once it appears how we would like, bobby pin it where you’re holding it to safe the body.
4.    Pull on it.
After your braid is done and properly secured with bobby pins, take on each area marginally to lift up and release it. If you are nervous you are likely to pull your braid out, secure the end from it safe with one hand after which it pull-up just a bit on each segment using the other hand.
