Britney Spears‘ fans are pressing a serious Twitter strategy to find the star to show up on Modern Family following the singer talked about her interest in the ABC comedy. The hash tag Get Britney on Modern Family trended globally the other day.
It started out when Brit, who has a cameo on Glee and a guests role how I Met Your Mom, wrote, “I know everyone’s interested in the Super Bowl, but I individually can’t wait to view the next show of recent Family Funniest show on television.
Modern Family star Sofia Verger re tweeted her information. Spears’ director Adam Leber asked fans on the website for input on an achievable Spears cameo:
“Britney Spears on Modern Family? What do you guys think?” Twitter people jumped on board. “I bet if Britney was on Modern Family, she’d provide the show its greatest ratings up to now!” one tweet said.
Spears required a display shot of the trending hash tag and published it to Facebook. “You all are at it again – look what’s trending!” the 30-year-old said. Answering followers, she said: “Ahhhh We would like to be onto it!”
